same test thru SSL(v4.6) (Secure Socket Layer), please ignore warnings
about CA.
In the most
common cases, to use Anyemail to check your email, simply enter your email
address and password.
However, if your POP3 server name is different from the domain name in
your email address, or the userid to the POP3 server is different from
your email account id, enter the address as
mailuser@maildomain->userid@pop3_server
For example:
support@netbula.com->netbulax@pop3.netbula.com
What
is it?
Do you want to
receive email in any POP3 email account you have from anywhere using
a browser?
Do you want to
send email from any browser using any of your email accounts to anyone
else?
Anyemail, a POP3/SMTP
email CGI client live on a WEB server, allows you to do the above very
easily.
How
does it work?
Anyemail is installed
on a WEB server as a CGI program that can communicate with POP3 servers
to retrieve email and communicate with SMTP servers to send email. On
reading email, the CGI program on the web server retrieves mails from
a POP3 server, decodes them and returns them to your browser, on sending,
the CGI takes your message and connect directly to the SMTP server to
send the mail. On forwarding, the programs retrieves the email from
the POP3 server and sends it to the SMTP server. Since the e-mail retrieval
and delivery are performed on the web server (which has fast Internet
connection), Anyemail is very fast.
